Kalexius is strengthening its Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) activities through the acquisition of UK-based ALSP Lexoo.

The acquisition of Lexoo is a significant milestone for Kalexius’ growth and development, stemming from an increasing demand for CLM services globally. CLM has been a key element of Kalexius’ managed legal services offering since its inception in 2012.

Kalexius Founder and CEO Nicolas Leroux said:

“This is a very exciting time for Kalexius and Lexoo. Workloads across in-house legal departments are heavier than ever and lawyers are anxious to find effective solutions to streamline their work. The ongoing rise in demand for CLM services is a clear sign that ALSPs are no longer a fringe element of the legal sector but a well-established and essential partner for in-house legal departments and law firms.

“We are thrilled to welcome the Lexoo team in the Kalexius group and we look forward to a smooth and productive transition over the next few months.”

Lexoo Founder and CEO Daniel van Binsbergen said:

“The merger with Kalexius marks an exciting new time for Lexoo. An opportunity to amplify our impact and further extend our reach globally. It will enable us to offer customers a full service ALSP offering and I’m thrilled to see where our combined strengths will take us.”

Over the years, Lexoo has been widely recognized as an innovator in the legal space with accolades including the FT Innovative Lawyer awards and a ranking in the UK Deloitte Fast 50 of fastest growing companies.

Ranked by Chambers for the last four years as a premier ALSP, Kalexius operates globally out of seven countries including the UK. The Lexoo team will remain based in the UK, reinforcing Kalexius’ presence in the region.
